Some of you

who are closely following my ART-Instagram account

may have noticed that I sometimes write poems…

It just happens somewhere in the creative proces.

Funny - it appears that it has always been with me like this… - but I’ll write about it some other time, if I’m brave enough to share the story ;)

I write them usually in Polish

and than I dare (please don't judge ;)

to translate some of them into EN version.

A tear hugged in a hurry, too late

trickles out clumsily

on the other cheek.

It irreversibly absorbs

rivers of the past moments,

so stubbornly still

that they run deeper and deeper without any restraint.

The well known warmth of a breath

closes her eyes, which were so ready to fly.

A painfully safe fall

represents the new beginning.

Utulona za późno łza

sączy się niezdarnie

po cudzym policzku.

Bezpowrotnie chłonie

rzeki minionych momentów,

tak uparcie ciche,

że bez opamiętania rwące.

Ciepło znajomego oddechu

zamyka oczy wyrywajace się do lotu.

Boleśnie bezpieczny upadek

stanowi nowy początek.

A SISTER SERIES

As you probably already know,

while painting WILD GIRL I allowed myself two versions of it

(which was probably related to listening to the great Bovska's album).

My paintings are often created in series.

I think it's time to start giving them names, right?

In this situation, the only one that came to my mind was

the SISTER SERIES.

They could be presented side by side like sisters,

or like two versions of one person (we know that well, right?).

Well, the WILD GIRL has been SOLD and has just landed in London,

but her SISTER REMAINS AVAILABLE ;)

A WILD GIRL

The wild girl has been following me for a long time.

As if she was whispering that she wanted to get out.

I spent a few wild days (and nights) with her and here she is.

It's so gooood to drop everything

and try to just float on the waves of uncontrollable thoughts, feelings and shreds of memories or fresh ideas.

Sometimes there's really no place to eat dinner when I lay everything out on the table in the living room

(it's bigger than the one in the studio, which obviously matters),

but it's always worth it!

I love this state of mind, the creative process !

Let everything go

and let your thoughts flow.

NEW - THE SCULPTURE

When I was talking to Xavier Gras - one of the organizers of the ODE TO JOY exhibition - about the works I planned to present in AMSTERDAM, he asked me:
