Here it is.

A Venice hotel trio of mine on Fabriano.

I simply packed my thoughts and traveled to Venice/ Italy.

Hmmm…

I truly did.

I magically traveled in time as well, via pictures made by my family years ago while discovering beautiful Italy of 1993.

I am soooooo grateful you showed me the world! BTW you both look stunning on this picture ;))

I was in Venice later as well, as a dancer but that's a whole different story… ;)

So after the Blue Lagoon Hotel I moved into the real and wild places - Transylvania.

There's a serie of three, again on Fabriano paper 400 gsm, but this time a bit smaller.

Contrast is an emphasized difference, contrasting elements of the picture, which serves to emphasize selected parts of art, emphasizes the mood by introducing kind of anxiety.

I see the memories this way. If you compare them with the present it may be often unexpectedly contrasting, surprising, and the more we enter them the more often our anxiety increases. Happy those who can read all of this on time.

For all my life (still short guys, still a short life;) I had in my head the words of my Beloved Mother: you see Olgunia, we were here with Daddy, we left there a coin so that you too would have a chance to admire these splendors ... I heard it every time when on TV on various occasions I have seen snapshots from Rome.

And one spring afternoon, the Di Trevi fountain looked out of the corner. The world stopped for a moment. Being exhausted, overeaten, having the evening sun blinding me didn’t matter! Even the sea of people surrounding the monument seems invisible…

The emotion and what I read from it will stay in me forever - and I tell my children this story and keep my fingers crossed so that one spring day they will be stunned as I was. Full of love.

Kontrast to uwydatniona różnica, przeciwstawienie elementów obrazu, które służy zaakcentowaniu wybranych partii dzieła, podkreśla nastrój poprzez wprowadzenie niepokoju.

Tak często postrzegam wspomnienia. Ich zestawienie z teraźniejszością jest często nieoczekiwanie kontrastowe, zaskakujące, a im wchodzimy głębiej tym nierzadko wzmaga się nasz niepokój. Szczęśliwi ci, którzy na czas potrafią to dobrze odczytać.

Przez całe swoje (nadal krótkie kochani, nadal krótkie życie ;) miałam w głowie słowa mojej Kochanej Mamy: zobacz Olguniu, byliśmy tutaj z Tatą, wrzuciliśmy monetę byś i Ty miała szansę te wspaniałości podziwiać... Słyszałam to za każdym razem kiedy w telewizji przy różnych okazjach widziałam migawki z Rzymu.

I pewnego wiosennego popołudnia zatkało mnie jak zza rogu wyjrzała fontanna Di Trevi. Świat się na chwilę zatrzymał. Nieważne było zmęczenie, przejedzenie, słońce prosto w oczy czy tłumy, morze ludzi.

Wzruszenie i to co z niego odczytałam zostanie we mnie na zawsze - a dzieciom opowiadam tę historię trzymając kciuki by pewnego wiosennego dnia podobnie je zatkało. Z miłości.

And coming back to the crowds…. As any other tourist I had to make a picture. I looked around and realized that there is a way…yes, there is always a way… I climbed to the second floor of Benetton looking at the monument, waited a bit so nobody sees me and entered the shop window, glued myself to it and… here you are ;)

Of course I decided to come back early in the morning (so you can see those few pictures taken at sunrise ;)

A co do tłumów. Jak każdy typowy turysta - naturalnie chciałam zrobić zdjęcie. Ale zrób tu człowieku cokolwiek jak nie masz jak się ruszyć… Jak udało mi się wreszcie rozejrzeć - znalazłam….Zawsze jest sposób! Wdrapałam się na piętro Benettona, którego okna wyglądają na fontannę, przeczekałam, by mnie nikt nie widział, po czym weszłam na wystawę i przykleiłam się do szyby…mocno ;) i proszę: jest!

I spent a few mornings on the early walks on the streets of Rome.

I was interested in this city at sunrise, bathed in extraordinary light, without crowds, without heat, without rain (more on that soon). It was interesting to see the newlyweds at photo sessions, on the empty Spanish stairs at sunrise (btw I still don’t get the phenomenon of this stairs) or a queue of bloggers - at morning photo sessions. You could watch young (and older) girls - quickly changing wardrobe in the shadow of the tall gates of Roman houses. Than, in a moment, you could see them again in front of the next tourist attraction, relaxing their smiles to the lens of their own photographers ...

Spędziłam kilka poranków na rzymskich spacerach.

Ciekawiło mnie to miasto o wschodzie słońca, skąpane w nadzwyczajnym świetle, bez tłumów, bez upału, bez deszczu (o tym wkrótce).

Ciekawym okazało się napotykanie nowożeńców na sesjach zdjęciowych, na pustych o wschodzie słońca schodach hiszpańskich (których fenomenu nadal nie pojmuję) czy kolejki blogerów - na porannych sesjach zdjęciowych, młodszych (i tych w kwiecie wieku) panien - szybko zmieniających garderobę w cieniu bram wysokich rzymskich kamienic by za chwilę, na tle kolejnej turystycznej atrakcji, wyprężać uśmiech do obiektywu własnego fotografa...
