Let’s walk the streets of this little Spanish town this week. Are you ready? As I focus mostly on the pictures - here you will find some information about this nice place in Andalusia. Have fun guys! Po smutkach czas na stwierdzenie, że życie nadal się toczy. Aby Was nieco zrelaksować (jak zawsze;) i być może odrobinę od smutków odciągnąć - zapraszam na spacer po Mijas. Małym miasteczku w południowej Hiszpanii. Skupiam się na zdjęciach - inni nie tylko, zatem jeśli chcecie, tutaj znajdziecie praktyczne informacje o tym miasteczku.

To jak - codziennie kawa nad kilkoma zdjęciami z Mijas? Myśle, że to dobry pomysł ;)

I went through my latest work. Photography was my main work in the previous year but it also led me to a brand new chapter. I have learned a lot, watched the master of color grading at work and I must say that I am already passioned about the new way of working with a picture, motion picture my friend.

I hope to show you my work here in the coming months.

In the meantime, let's have a look at the most liked and commented pictures from 2018 (you can open each pic by clicking on it or contact me to get a full resolution versions).

London calling

I spent a lovely weekend with my Friends in London couple of weeks ago. We were so concentrated on the talking that I forgot to take pictures. Luckily there's a few to share - so enjoy the Thursday ;)

Kilka tygodni temu spędziłam w Londynie uroczy weekend z przyjaciółmi. Tak nas zajęły rozmowy, że zapomniałam o aparacie. Na szczęście kilka zdjęć znalazłam - udanego oglądania.

We were walking the streets of London, talking of course, eating unhealthy stuff and having a lot of fun (not able to go into the details here :)) I spent in London some time of my life and I really like this city. It was great to visit it again. The completely diverse architecture and many surprises on almost each corner. That’s how I like it - to walk and look around.

Spacerowałyśmy sporo rozmawiając, jedząc i bawiąc się przednio. Spędziłam w Londynie parę ważnych chwil w swoim życiu i lubię tu wracać. Zróżnicowana architektura i niespodzianki za prawie każdym rogiem - to lubię. Spacerować i obserwować!

It’s one of those cities which always look good and interesting on pictures don’t you think?

To jedno z tych miast, które wyglądają świetnie o każdej porze dnia, nie sądzicie?

We’ve made almost a 20 kilometer walk. We walked through the Spital Square and watched the nice shops and restaurants area where you could find the monument in honor to migrants who seek for a shelter in Europe, also in the UK.

It was very sad really to see it in front of the restaurant, in the middle of the shopping district… I guess it was meant to move you.

It really gives you food for thought…

Przespacerowałyśmy w sobotni dzień niemal 20 kilometrów. Wiele miejsc naturalnie nas urzekło. A to na poniższych fotografiach zasmuciło.

Pomiędzy halą targową i różnymi biurowcami, restauracjami stoi niewielka barka, pełna postaci - imigrantów, którzy w poszukiwaniu lepszego i przede wszystkim bezpiecznego życia przybijają (lub nie) do brzegów Europy, w tym do Wielkiej Brytanii.

Tego typu pomnik, w takim miejscu - daje naprawdę dużo do myślenia…

Not to leave you with only the sad thoughts I must admit that it always makes me laugh how big cities try to help trees to grow in the middle of concrete jungle.

I admire the effort. I really do ;)

Nie zostawię Was wyłącznie z zasmucającym spostrzeżeniami. Bawi mnie bowiem to jak wielkie metropolie starają się zachować choć odrobinę zieleni w betonowej dżungli.

Bardzo doceniam te wysiłki, nawet jak nieustannie mnie bawią ;)

Our lovely walk ended in SAVOY Theatre where we watched moving musical ‘The Dreamgirls’. It was a FANTASTIC surprise!!!

My camera didn't survive till that moment so you can only imagine how absolutely amazing this experience was to us!

Nasz całodzienny spacer zakończył się wspaniałą niespodzianką. Późnym wieczorem wylądowałyśmy w przepięknym teatrze SAVOY gdzie obejrzałyśmy

r e w e l a c y j n y musical ‘the Dreamgirls’.

Aparat do tego czasu padł więc możecie sobie tylko wyobrazić jak było ;)

Jak siedzimy tak przy biurkach, przydałoby nam się nieco słońca i lazurowego morza - prawda? W takim razie wrzucam tu kilka zdjęć ze słonecznej, wiosennej Hiszpanii. Odwiedziłam to miasto parę razy, ten akurat był słoneczny, pozostałe naturalnie w ulewnym deszczu.

If you’re bored at work (some of you surely are ;), you could use a bit of sun and lovely blue sea - right? In that case, I put here some photos from the sunny spring Spain. I visited this city a few times, this one was sunny, the rest naturally in heavy rain.

Mam mieszane uczucia. Miasto to jest całkiem spore i pełne sprzeczności. Niby relaks ale jak się przyjrzymy restauracji Papagayo z innego kąta - widzimy świętną miejscówkę dla bezdomnych.

Urocza starówka nie jest zbyt rozległa, za to przylega do niej ogromny parking - klepisko, na tysiące samochodów. Turystów to masa, bo z góry popaytrzeć można głęboko w morze (tzw Balkon Europy) i zakupić chińską albo hiszpańską pamiatkę, albo nabyć nieruchomość czy lody (chwilowo wybrałam tę drugą opcję ;)

A jak Wam się podoba? Zapatrzeni jak ten jegomość, który nie specjalnie wie w którą stronę się udać?

This white city is quite big and full of contrasts. You do have a chance to relax but if you look closer from a different angle at the Papagayo restaurant - you see a perfect place for the homeless.

The charming old town is nice, but there is a huge parking lot attached to it - for thousands of cars and buses. It’s crowded with the tourists, because you can look at the sea from above (the so-called Balcony of Europe) and buy a Chinese or Spanish souvenir or even find yourself a real estate or ice cream (this time I chose the second option;)

And how do you like it? Overwhelmed by the sea and the mountains like this gentleman who does not really know which way to go?
